Tide Change is a project of a Comox Valley non-profit society called, World Community Development Education Society (WCDES), known locally as World Community. The directors of World Community believe that the global crisis facing us at the dawn of the 21st century is of such magnitude that no one group, or community or country can effectively develop solutions without the help of others. We are all being called upon to work collectively for the betterment of society and especially for the benefit of future generations. The directors believe in the old African proverb, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." We want to go far.
